Homes Tasmania has established a panel of approved builders to help deliver its pipeline of works over the next three years.

The panel is a critical strategy to help build more homes faster and deliver the housing target of 10 000 homes by 2032.
After a competitive tender process, eight building and construction firms have been selected to form the panel of builders that will deliver Class 1 construction projects:
- Creative Homes
- Cunic Homes
- JDR Homes
- Lyden Builders
- Ronald Young + Co Builders
- St Joseph Affordable Homes
- SJM Property
- Wilson Homes.
Class 1 construction includes single dwellings such as detached houses and separate dwellings within a group of attached dwellings, such as townhouses, that are not more than three storeys.
Members will remain on the panels for a period of three years, at which point Homes Tasmania will reopen the panels for new submissions.
The panels will guarantee the opportunity for members to quote simply and quickly for Homes Tasmania’s range of residential construction projects across Tasmania and will help cut the time it takes to get new homes underway, helping Tasmanians into a home faster.
As at 31 January 2025, there were 631 social and affordable homes and lots of land in Homes Tasmania’s pipeline of works with many more projects being planned.
