The December Dashboard demonstrates Homes Tasmania’s ongoing actions to improve the housing system.

A total of 4 208 homes have been completed towards the target of 10 000 social and affordable homes by 2032.
There are a further 566 projects in Homes Tasmania’s construction pipeline and 5 226 homes and lots of land in the concept phase.
There were 141 new homes delivered in December, including 64 new social housing homes.
Included in this figure were four units of social housing delivered in partnership with Mission Australia Housing (MAH) under the Community Housing Growth Program.
Homes Tasmania provided grant funding of $732 000 ($183 000 per dwelling) and Mission Australia Housing developed the subdivision for these sites with land made available by Homes Tasmania under the Housing Land Supply Act 2018.
MAH is a national Tier 1 community housing provider that provides high-quality social and affordable rental housing to low- and moderate-income households.
MAH provides support coordination services to help tenants identify goals, develop plans, and connect to education, training, employment and other relevant support services to help them achieve greater levels of independence.
